Polyurethane coatings are valued for their flexible structure and strength but face challenges like moisture sensitivity, soft finishes, and high VOC emissions. In contrast, epoxy systems offer better mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and lower emissions, though achieving flexibility often involves environmentally harmful additives. This paper introduces two new flexible epoxy systems that cure quickly, maintain high performance and sustainability, and outperform traditional 2K polyurethane and conventional epoxy coatings.
